Have a look at the HISS 2015 Brochure to see what is in store for you at next year's summer school (http://www.hiss.org.uk/brochure.html). 2015 sees anniversaries of the signing of the Magna Carta (1215) and the Battle of Agincourt (1415); and the births of composers William Cornysh (1465), John Sheppard (1515), Duarte Lobo and Cipriano de Rore (both 1565), Giovanni Rigatti (1615) and Francisco Valls (1665).
Thus themes we will explore focusing on the ever popular music of England and Iberia, will be related to the idea of rules and rebellions! Some strong stuff. A musical theme underpinning some of the repertoire is the chanson l'Homme Armé. So, for instance, the full course material will include the Missa Duodecis Vocibus (Missa l'Homme Armé) attributed to Giacomo Carissimi. But look here for more info!

So these predictions can be true if there is any reality.
