Residential accommodation is close by, and includes either standard rooms (mostly 3 or 4 rooms with shared bathroom) or ensuite. Up to 6 rooms also have a shared fully equipped kitchen area, and there are wet rooms, and it is also possible to make up a small number of twin rooms for couples. Parking is on site, free, and close to the accommodation. A shuttle minibus will operate between Beverley Station and the campus on the opening and closing days of the course (for a small fare). The move also enables us to consolidate the course offer. There will be more integrated and sustained core (progressive) courses for eg viol consort, chamber choir, folk/traditional singing by ear, Baroque string orchestra as well as the usual folk string, wind and plucked string classes. There will be the expected large and small ensemble classes, and collaborative explorations of folk and traditional music and its connections with early music. Naturally the now equally traditional events, such as the ceilidh, the tutors concert, the Musical Banquet and the final concert will feature. The self service restaurant is next door to the bar, and there are other food and drink outlets for lunchtime. On the 360 hectare site there is an Olympic standard equestrian centre, and an animal centre (for the veterinary courses), worth a visit, with otters, reas, alpacas, parakeets and meerkats, etc, as well as more familiar pets.
